These precision engineered rollers are specially designed to perforate heat activated mount films and PVC heatseal films, to allow air to pass through them during processing in a Hot Press.
Though most of our films now come pre-pierced as standard, both clear and white drymount film require hand perforation, as does our very thick canvastex heatseal.
The piercing tool has hundreds of very sharp spikes that are used to create the pin sized holes required for air to escape during the mounting and laminating process
